We offer a professional service lawn care program that provides the best in fertilization and weed control. Our sustained-release granular and liquid fertilizer ensures your grass will reach that dark, rich, forest-green color while continuing to feed your grass weeks after it is applied.
Our five-step lawn care program works effectively for both cool-season and warm-season grasses. Each program is listed in more detail below.
Early Spring (February-March)
We apply herbicide to control the growth of broadleaf weeds such as chickweed, dandelions, and henbit. A separate herbicide application is used to prevent the growth and spread of grassy weeds, such as crabgrass and goosegrass. At this time, we also apply a seasonal fertilizer to support growth and prepare your lawn for the hot summer.
Spring (April-May)
In the spring, we apply another round of herbicides to control and prevent weeds as well as a seasonal fertilizer to continue supporting your lawn’s growth, health, and sustainability.
Summer (June-July)
Over the summer, we use a pelletized lime application to balance the pH levels in your soil. We also apply herbicide to continue controlling broadleaf weeds.
Fall (September-October)
A herbicide is used for the control of broadleaf weeds as needed. We also apply a complete seasonal fertilizer.
Early Winter (November-December)
H & H Lawn Care completes its five-step lawn care program with one last round of herbicide weed control for the complete elimination of broadleaf weeds and one more round of complete seasonal fertilizer.

Summer (August-September)
Once again, we use an herbicidal spray for broadleaf weed control and apply a complete seasonal fertilizer.
Fall (October-December)
H & H Lawn Care completes its five-step program by applying a weed control herbicide to finalize the elimination of any leftover broadleaf weeds. At this time, we also spray for annual grassy weeds such as Poa annua. Lastly, we apply a high potassium fertilizer, which will help to enhance the overall health of the lawn while improving its ability to withstand disease.
At H & H Lawn Care, your lawn means more. That’s why, in addition to our five-step lawn care program, we offer additional services to enhance the beauty of your landscape. Separate from what is included in our lawn care program, we offer lime applications, insecticide applications, fungicide applications, and other herbicide applications for crabgrass, dallisgrass, wild onions, and other broadleaf weeds. We also provide the following services to help sustain the life of your lawn while enriching it’s brilliant green color.
Our new mosquito control program has been proven highly effective at eradicating those blood-sucking, annoying pests! Our highly soluble product is even effective at eliminating fleas, ticks, wasps, ants, crickets, cockroaches, and other outdoor pests. With six monthly treatments applied every 30 – 35 days, our mosquito control will have your home mosquito-free in no time.
Surface-feeding insects can damage foliage and compromise the health of your lawn and surrounding vegetation. Grubs can cause brown patches and oddly shaped dead spots. Fleas and ticks carry a multitude of diseases making their sheer existence dangerous for your whole family. Dreadful armyworms can eat through your grass, giving your lawn an uneven, unattractive look. H & H Lawn Care has you covered. Our insect control application will combat a wide range of pests, including grubs, fleas, ticks, armyworms, and more.
Georgia summers can wreak havoc on your grass, causing compacted soil, too much thatch, and spongy grass. H & H Lawn Care’s core aeration process will help to prevent rainwater runoff and allow it to reach the root zone more rapidly while creating a softer, more open soil.
Overseeding revives damaged plants caused by a lack of water, heavy foot traffic, and heat. We plant grass seed directly onto existing turf to help improve your lawn’s appearance, fill in bare spots, and enhance its ability to fight weeds and insects. We do this by adding the seeds directly to your existing turf without tearing up or turning your soil.
Our trained technicians will take out a core piece of your ground to test your soil. We send it out to the University of Georgia to be analyzed. Lab technicians will determine any problems within your lawn and what treatments may be needed. We will then meet with you to discuss a course of action. Contact us today!
